Store it in a clean and dry container away from moisture and sunlight

You can replace it with regular rice and make steamed rice, Pulao, Khichdi, Biryani. Soak it in water for 1 hour before cooking. Please note, due to its high fiber content, this rice will need slightly more time to cook. But the benefits it has, it's totally worth it to give it a few minutes more. Red rice is widely used to make Pej drink for babies. Here's a recipe for Pej:
Ingredients:

2 tablespoons of red rice
1 cup of water
Preparation:

Soak the red rice in water for 1 hour to soften it.
Thoroughly rinse the soaked rice with warm water to clean it.
Procedure:

In a saucepan, combine the red rice and 1 cup of water.
Bring it to a boil and cook until the rice becomes soft and tender.
Strain the rice, collecting the rice water in a clean cup.
Usage:

For babies (above 12 months):
Add a pinch of salt to enhance the taste, if desired.
Dilute the boiled red rice water if required before feeding it to the baby.
Note: The leftover boiled rice can be used to prepare other dishes.
